I shave daily and clean two or three times a week, so I get about 2 months out of a full cartridge. In addition to cleaning less than every day and sealing the cartridge when it is not in use, there is another way to save on these. Mine reads “empty” when it is still about a third to half full of cleaning fluid. I just strain the liquid through a coffee filter (or a napkin) to remove shavings and reuse it. Be careful not to overfill or you will have to clean up a small puddle of alcohol. Two “empties” works perfectly – it gives you nearly a new full cartridge, cutting waste and extending the life of the cartridge.
